The Vikings - the Scandinavian warriors, seafarers, who devastated and plundered the shores of Europe, and terrified the people of England, France and others for three hundred years. For many, the image of the Vikings is a mighty bearded warrior who always has a helmet with horns on him. In fact, this is not entirely true. This image has nothing to do with historical reality, it is rather inspired by feature films and books. However, it was this image that was loved by many and became easily recognizable.
